Latest News and Events

  1. At our February 13, 2025 Executive Committee meeting we passed a motion declaring that the Washtenaw County GOP officially endorses Senator Jim Runestad for State Party Chair and his running mate, Bernadette Smith, as Co-Chair.

  2. We held our "spring" county convention on January 30 where we elected forty-two (42) delegates and sixteen (16) alternates to the "spring" state convention. These delegates and alternates will be responsible for electing the members and officers of our 6th Congressional District Committee and six (6) officers of the Michigan Republican Party:
    1. State Chair
    2. Co-Chair
    3. Coalitions Vice-Chair
    4. Outreach Vice-Chair
    5. Grassroots Vice-Chair
    6. Ethnic Vice-Chair
    7. Administrative Vice-Chair
    8. Youth Vice-Chair

Who Are We?

The new Executive Committee officially started on December 5, 2024, and by statute the new officers started their term on January 1, 2025.

Regular Meetings


The Executive Committee meets every second Thursday of the month at our headquarters at 7:00pm in the large conference room on the south side of the building. Our next meeting is March 13, 2025. All are welcome to attend.
